Typical Torsional applications

On one hand no additional seals are necessary and on the other no loose particles are created during the welding, the shelf-life of chemical and pharmaceutical products can be greatly extended.

In addition, virtually no heat is generated during the welding process, so there are no adverse structural changes in either the material or in the contents of the cans. Furthermore, disposal is simplified, as no different types of materials (seals) are used.

With this process developed by AMTEC round containers and cans with a lid, without additional seal elements can achieve helium tight seals.
