Manufacturing Cell – Fully Automated

Operator safety work station with automatic sliding door and 2 anti-tie down opto switches. Also includes integrated power-supply, Nitrogen assist for burr-free cutting.

 

Automatic Part Loading

Robot carries 6 parts from molding machine and then loads them on the automation cell. The part present sensor verifies that  parts are seated on the nest.

Manufacturing Cell with HMI

Robotic part handling system consists of 6 axes robot, vision system for part orientation and 532nm Nd:Yag laser. HMI with touch screen for all operation and diagnostic functions.

Manufacturing Cell with PC Interface

This manufacturing workstation consists of multi-axis part handling system  for precision manufacturing processes. It also has safe-view window and sliding door.

Feeder Bowl with Tracks

Bowl feeder with in line vibratory feeder track. The parts are fed at the laser drilling station where they are drilled and inspected. Good and bad parts are separated in automatic mode.

 

2D Matrix Scanner

6-axes robot for handling wide variation of parts. It also minimizes tooling cost and provides accuracy and precision and highly repeatable positioning.

 

Positioning with Stepper Motors

This large X-Y work table is driven by stepper motor and timing belt for low inertia load with high speed motion.  The machine is guarded with light curtain at load/unload station.

Large Panel X-Y Table

Precision X-Y table with 30” x 72” travel. It is driven by 2 stepper motors for high accuracy and repeatable process.  It has safety enclosure and process view window.

Precision X-Y Table

12” x 24” (300 x 600 mm) precision X-Y table for accurate and repeatable positioning during the scribing and cutting process. Positioning accuracy is +/-0.005” (0.125 mm).

 

Part Holding Nest

Part holding nest with 6 parts at each station of index table. 2 anti-tie down switches provide operator safety. View window offers safe view of the process.

 

Transfer Station 4 axes

Part handling System to transfer parts from one manufacturing cell to another using precision 4 axes mechanism. The part orientation changes from one process to another.

 

Feeder Bowl

Feeder bowl with in-line vibratory feeder and pick & place to orient, align and feed parts for Ultrasonic welding with hermetic seal. Machine also inspects for weld quality.

 

Precision Stage 4 – axes Stage

This high precision stage is also very accurate and repeatable. It uses servo motor to achieve precision X-Y-R and Tilt  motion within 0.001” (0.025 mm) accuracy.

Part Load & Unload

Automatic part loading and unloading station. It uses pneumatic slides along X, Y & Z axes for low cost and cost effective applications.

Rotary Module

The rotary module is mounted on a linear slide. This enables the machine to use two processes on demand; Rotary 360° wrap-around & vertical for X-Y-Z processes.

Part shuttle to feed parts from feeder bowl. Pick & Place transports part from dead nest to assembly station. Travel is consistent and repeatable along both X & Z axes.

 

Feeder Magazine

Fully automated machine with parts feeder via stack-up feeder magazine. A walking beam transports part from in-feed magazine to stamping station and then re-stack at other end.

Loading and unloading station with Light curtain  and 2 anti-tie down switches for operator safety. Enclosure door slides open when process is complete .

This rotary tool is used for continuous motion. It is very economical and is used for high speed marking, up to 360 degree wrap around with accurate registration.

This rotary tool is used for precision indexing for accurate positioning. It is highly repeatable, gives consistent yield and is driven by precision stepper motor drive.
