The advantage of this well proven method are aesthetically acceptable seals which also safeguards against fraying or any migration of filler material.
A typical field of application are filters made from nonwovens or fabrics. Surgical and cosmetic pads, labels for the textile industry, ribbons and various other textile-like products can also be economically processed using this technology. Ultrasonic Cut 'n' Sealing systems have been designed to cater for single operation usage as well as integration into automatic production systems.
Numerous shapes can be obtained by simply exchanging the Cut 'n' Sealing tools. Pad sizes may range from 3x3 mm upto 130 x 300 mm or more when using multi converter systems.
